Touchdown Boracay

Finally made it to the islandzzz. A refreshing boat ride across the water, after a refreshing walk through the water up a little wooden plank to get on, then a shuttle through little village streets lined with colorful shack shops and little mopeds at our tail. Tired and humid and sunny. Perfect tropical island weather. Was still on a search for a "load" for my phone, still in search of Anna and food and rest, when finally found a little store who electronically texted me the 300 minutes. Then found a soft reclining sun chair by the pool, found Anna, found lunch at the hotel, and off to explore. Sands soft like powder, water blue and crystally clear, breezy and sunny, clouds dramatic, rocky islands and hills off and across the water, tons of sailing boats, palm trees and fun touristy distractions. A dip in the salty cool ocean, and walking back, a sweet indulgence of 'ice candy' from a shop without electricity, which was supposedly "cheese" flavor, but was just sweet icey milk in a plastic wrapper we had fun sucking and making jokes about with the playful and sweet store merchants. Ahhhh..... a rest and parties tonight to come.....
